HabitWizz is made by Bemate s.r.o. (“we”, “us”), a company registered in the Czech Republic (IČO: 23990201 · DIČ: CZ23990201), Chodská 598, 541 01 Trutnov. Contact: [email protected].
The short version
- Your habit history and settings stay on your device by default.
- We do not sell your data or run advertising trackers in the app.
- Optional sync uses your own private Apple iCloud account.
- Apple Health access is optional and controlled by you in iOS settings.
What HabitWizz stores
HabitWizz stores the information needed for habit tracking locally on your iPhone or iPad. This may include habit names, goals, schedules and themes; completions, progress, streaks and rest days; settings and insights preferences; and optional Daily Reflect notes.
This data is not uploaded to Bemate servers. You can delete habits or remove the app to clear local data.
Accounts
HabitWizz does not require an account. You can use the app offline with everything stored on your device. If you choose optional iCloud sync, your Apple ID may be used by Apple to enable sync under Apple’s privacy terms.
To delete your HabitWizz account and data after signing in, use Settings → Account & iCloud → Delete Account & Data in the app.
iCloud and Apple Health
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn on sync, HabitWizz may store your habit data in your private iCloud so it stays in step across your Apple devices. Bemate does not operate a separate HabitWizz cloud account for your habits and does not access the contents of your iCloud habit data.
You can turn sync off in the app or manage iCloud storage in your Apple device settings.
Apple Health (optional, Pro)
With HabitWizz Pro, you may allow HabitWizz to read or write specific Health categories—such as water or mindful minutes—so habits can update automatically. Access is optional, controlled in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health, and is not shared with Bemate servers.
Purchases and this website
App Store purchases
If you buy HabitWizz Pro, payment is handled by Apple. We receive only the limited purchase or entitlement information needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
This website
The HabitWizz website may use standard hosting logs—such as IP address, browser type and pages visited—for security and reliability. We do not use advertising cookies or sell website visitor data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use your habit content for advertising.
- We do not require social login or a HabitWizz account for core use.
Children
HabitWizz is not directed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country. If you believe a child has provided personal data through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU/EEA under GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal data, and to object to processing or request portability where applicable.
Because most HabitWizz data stays on your device or in your iCloud, the fastest controls are on the device: edit or delete habits, revoke Health permissions, turn off iCloud sync, or delete the app.
International users
Bemate s.r.o. is based in the Czech Republic (EU). Limited data processed through hosting or email may be handled in the EU or by providers that support appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or website changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
